The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) held a Standard Writing Competition at the Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Science-Tezpur, GCU Tezpur campus on April 26, 2023. Dr. Lamsuanlun Tonsing (Scientist-C, BIS Guwahati) gave a brief introduction of the BIS, its goals, and its field of expertise to inaugurate the program. The Standard Writing Competition on the theme of “IS 1011: Biscuits” was participated in by the student members of BIS, GIPS-Tezpur.The winners of this competition are as follows:1st Prize: Ms. Sruti Deka & Ms. Jyotirani Medhi (B.
